Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

All quotations, sales orders, and invoices issued by Servotech (Pvt) Ltd are subject exclusively to the following Terms and Conditions. Any conditions proposed by the client shall not apply unless expressly accepted in writing by Servotech (Pvt) Ltd.

2. Quotation Validity

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Prices may be revised after this period.

3. Payment Terms

Invoices are payable within 21 working days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For project work or custom fabrication, Servotech (Pvt) Ltd reserves the right to request:

  • Advance payment

  • Stage payments

  • 50% advance before commencement of work

Late payments will incur interest at 10% per annum on the outstanding balance.

Servotech (Pvt) Ltd reserves the right to suspend services in the event of overdue payments.

4. Travel & Service Charges

Field service visits are subject to:

  • Service charge as quoted

  • Travel charges based on distance

  • Minimum travel charge policy (if applicable)

  • Additional charges for emergency, night, or weekend visits

Travel charges are calculated per kilometer unless otherwise agreed.

5. Customer-Supplied Materials

Where materials are supplied by the client (e.g., MDF boards, molds, components), Servotech (Pvt) Ltd shall not be responsible for:

  • Material defects

  • Dimensional inaccuracies

  • Material failure during machining

Any material wastage due to inherent defects shall not be borne by Servotech (Pvt) Ltd.

6. Job Work & Machining Services

Servotech (Pvt) Ltd undertakes to perform services using reasonable skill and care in accordance with agreed specifications. However, Servotech does not guarantee performance results beyond the scope of agreed work.

7. Delivery & Completion Time

Estimated completion dates are approximate. Servotech (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for delays caused by:

  • Power failures

  • Machine breakdown

  • Material shortages

  • Force majeure events

8. Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Service warranty is limited to 7 days from completion.

  • Replacement parts carry manufacturer warranty only.

  • Warranty does not cover misuse, improper handling, or third-party modifications.

9. Limitation of Liability

Servotech (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of production, loss of profit, or business interruption.

Total liability shall not exceed the invoice value of the specific service or product supplied.

10. Retention of Ownership

All goods supplied remain the property of Servotech (Pvt) Ltd until full payment is received.

11. Loaned or Installed Equipment

If any temporary equipment or tools are provided during service, they remain the property of Servotech (Pvt) Ltd and must not be tampered with.

12. Governing Law

All contractual relationships shall be governed exclusively by the laws of Sri Lanka.

Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
